Lindengut is a place of balance: It lies at the foot of the Hessian Rhoen with a hilly and peaceful rural landscape around, and at the same time very close to the small city of Fulda. We can look back on 30 years of organic farm history and have developed a sense for future needs and natural hospitality that we want our guests to experience. In our organic guesthouse Lindengut – the first certified of the Hessian Rhön – we combine comfortable relaxation with culinary and sensual – cultural highlights. The old farmhouse has been renovated to a high standard especially paying attention to organic standards concerning building materials and interiours. Whether for holidays, for family events or business meetings – you will surely find plenty of room to be undisturbed and to feel at home.

Our guesthouse Lindengut is part of an organic agricultural unit, with farm buildings and gardens surrounded by fields and woods. Depending on the seasons our gardens provide us with ingredients for our breakfast and meals during business meetings. We want Lindengut to be a place where natural origins and humankind come together – this is why we chose to work after the organic principles and to focus on this holistic approach to farming and life. We want to influence the present and the future with the help of our organic tradition.

An organic farmFrom the envelope to the breakfast- since the 80s with organic certification , a seasonal garden , own water , chickens , geese and cattle , as well as photovoltaic , wood heating and green electricity . Here we combine ” old ” with ” new”. The farm is just a biological guesthouse ( B & B ) rebuilt . 10 individual biologically furnished rooms for single or double use . Some with private bathrooms , but also some very modern floor bathrooms for your own. Sauna area is also available . Organic breakfast with herzberger Biobroten and rolls, kff organic sausages and , of course, another partially self- produced collection of organic products , is served in our large family kitchen . For conferences, seminars , workshops , Barcamps or events we take advantage of our Naturland – catering “bankett sinnreich” Equipment1 meeting room with 50 sqm , 1 meeting room with 20 sqm , 1 meeting room conservatory ( 12m² ) , 1 Event barn ( 100 square meters) , and much more awaits you at our place of power

A gateway to the RhoenLindengut is surrounded by greenery, close to nature and self-sufficient. Nevertheless, it is close to town and located in the middle of Germany with the new motorway exit Fulda -Mitte and train connections to the east, the west, the north and the south.

La Casa di Melo is an ancient farmhouse in Eastern Sicily, recently renovated into a lovely farm holiday resort.
 
It lies beneath an organic citrus plantation and it is the green lung of our business. Our farm has been cultivating organic products for the past 20 years. To us, organic is a lifestyle, a better way of living with a low environmental impact. It is a lifestyle we would like to share with you.
 
We created an environment in harmony with surrounding nature so that you can fully enjoy the leisure of Sicily's countryside. La Casa di Melo is located in a special position: only 12 kms away from Syracuse, very close to the beaches of Fontane Bianche and just 15 minutes away fromNoto. A perfect base from where to start discovering the magic of culture, nature and food of South Eastern Sicily.
 
La Casa di Melo has a shop where you can find our own products such as almond paste or extra-virgin olive oil, the output of organic agriculture.
 
And for those of you who are not content of being just a short distance away from the seaside, there's a beautiful swimming pool that fits harmoniously within the landscape, just in front of the farmhouse. Once recharged by such relax, you can arrange short bicycle rides to the nature reserve of Ciane river. Bicycles are on the premises, of course.

By car

From Catania airport or from Catania
Take Catania's tangenziale ovest and follow directions to Siracusa. Get on the highway Catania-Gela direction Siracusa, follow it till the Cassibile exit. From the exit direct towards the town of Cassibile and go through it towards Siracusa. Past the Agip gas station you'll find a bridge, turn left right after it direction C.da Sant'Elia.
Follow the road for about 200 meters, stay on the left for 500 more meters and you'll find on your right a big pink house with a beautiful courtyard (there is a small sign at the entrance).

From Siracusa
Take the highway Siracusa-Cassibile. Exit at Cassibile then follow the above directions.

No car
If you arrive in Siracusa by train or bus coming from Catania airport, please contact us at least a day before and we'll manage to come and pick you up.
